Summer 2009 issue

I just wanted to thank you for the article on Rosa Page Welch in your Summer (2009) issue, which I picked up at General Assembly. Tears came to my eyes as I thought of the warm woman with the lovely voice and personality whom I first met and heard as a student at Eureka College a half-century ago, and many times thereafter. It also made me think of her wonderful husband, E.C., who was a close friend of my father, Tom, in Illinois C.M.F. work.

Just Women magazine is the new resource/Bible study for Disciples Women's Ministries. International Disciples Women Ministries (IDWM) and the Office of Disciples Women (ODW) are officially endorsing Just Women as our primary resource for women. We believe that this quarterly publication will meet the emerging and diverse needs of our women.
